南韓保健福祉部「中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒感染症」(MERS-CoV)對策本部16日通報,南韓新增4例MERS確診病例和3例死亡病例,確診患者增至154人,死亡人數增至19人,另有17人痊癒出院。

當天新增的患者中,3人於5月27-28日去過三星首爾醫院,可能當時感染了病毒。截至目前,154例確診患者中,76例為在醫療機構接受診療的患者,57例為患者家屬或訪客,26例為醫療機構工作人員。

南韓MERS疫情延燒,公共場所加強消毒。

新增3例死亡病例中首次出現40多歲年齡層患者,該患者此前患有肝硬化和糖尿病。另2人生前並無基礎疾病。截至目前,19例死亡病例中,15例生前患有慢性呼吸道疾病、癌症、心血管疾病等基礎疾病,其餘4例無基礎疾病。

死亡病例中男性為14人,女性為5人。按年齡層來看,70歲年齡層有7人,60歲年齡層有6人,50歲年齡層有3人,80歲年齡層有2人。

自5月20日南韓出現首例MERS病例以來,疫情以特定醫院的病患為主要傳染源快速擴散。其中,被感染人數較多的三星首爾醫院13日決定暫停接受門診和住院治療患者。目前,南韓已成為僅次於沙烏地阿拉伯、全球MERS疫情第二嚴重的國家。

MERS病毒於2012年9月首次從人類體內分離出來,症狀主要是急性的嚴重呼吸系統疾病,症狀包括發燒、咳嗽、呼吸急促與呼吸困難。感染者通常會有肺炎,部分會出現腎衰竭、心包膜炎、血管內瀰漫性凝血(DIC)或死亡。
